Pre-qualification and Tender Evaluation Committee (PTEC) is set up by an Executing Agency or the The Line Ministry shall constitute a Pre-qualification and Tender Evaluation Committee (PTEC) for large projects consisting of the following members:

Convener from the Executing Agency |

One member from Finance Division |
|
One member from the Line Ministry |
|
One member from Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs (drafting wing) |
|
One member (technical) from the Executing Agency |
|
One member from the Executing Agency as member-secretary of PTEC |
|
One member from FBCCI |
|
One member from FICCI, and |
|
One member from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). |
The PTEC may co-opt person(s) as member(s) in the committee to assist in the evaluation of Pre-qualification statements or Tenders. The members nominated from the chambers of commerce shall not have any ownership interest in any organization or company who has participated in the Tender.
